Sirius of the Week for September 9 - 15, 2001
Lady, who is part Labrador Retriever, is about 11
months old and weighs about 60 pounds.
Her favorite food is anything on the kitchen counter.
She enjoys playing with her rubber duckie. She lives
with her two humans and two canine "siblings" in
Virginia.
Her person mom and dad adopted Lady from some Amish
farmers when she was just 8 weeks old. According to
her mom, it has been a long 9 months. Lady is so
smart and gets into so much mischief. The day that
Lady figures out how smart she is, is the
day that her people are in a heap of trouble.
Lady loves her older canine brothers, Mougli and Bear,
and is excited that she is now big enough to wrestle
with Mougli. They have a daily wrestling match (or
two) which usually lasts until they both fall over
exhausted. Lady's getting better, but she still can't
beat Mougli.
