Sirius of the Week for January 16 - 22, 2000.
This is Mandi, relaxing on vacation while visiting her relatives,
including two aunt dogs (Cahli and Pasha). Mandi, who tends to be high
strung and playful -- contrary to the image she's attempting to
project in the picture -- spent her vacation week antagonizing
Cahli and Pasha, who wanted, or acted like they wanted, nothing to
do with her.
Mandi also plays while at home too. One of her favorite toys is
a stuffed shark with a squeeker in the fin. She loves to chomp on
the fin, and run down the hall, emitting "squeek! squeek! squeek!".
She also thoroughly enjoys munching on pig's ears.
She likes to get plenty of attention. She will dance on her hind
legs, front paws waving, to attract notice. And Mandi will sit in
the hall while her humans rush around in the morning. If that doesn't
get her anywhere, she'll wait until someone hurries by, then she'll
lick them on the foot!
All this play wears her out, so she has two beds. One is big
and she can really get comfy in it. The other one is a little too
small, but it's next to her person mom's computer. Because her
person mom spends a lot of time at the computer, Mandi will curl
up in her little bed, so she can receive scritches and attention
when mom isn't too busy.
