Sirius of the Week for December 24 - 30, 2000
Hi I'm Lance from Massachusetts. I am a 1 year old American
Bulldog/Pitbull mix. I had a rough first 7 months of my life. I was abused
and abandoned and ended up at a shelter with a broken leg. My owners were
looking for a much smaller dog but just couldn't resist me when I showed them
my "boo boo" (cast) and whimpered. They adopted me from the shelter 5
months ago and have been showering me with love ever since!
I may be big, but I am the biggest baby! I love to sit on laps (even
though I am too big), I also love to sit on my favorite chair.
I love playing with other animals and children too!
Many people believe Pitbulls are a mean animal, but trust me, it depends
on the individual dog and its training. I have gone to obedience school and
I am a quick learner! Although I do like to chew things occasionally (like
the couch, oooops!) I am still learning!
