Sirius of the Week for November 5 - 11, 2000
Madison is about a year old. Her people don't know exactly how old she is
as they adopted her when she was about 7 months old from an organization
called the People for Animal Welfare. Her family is not sure exactly what
kind of dog she is, possibly a Border Collie, with perhaps a mix of
something else.
Madison has grown up to be quite a large dog -- she weighs about 60 pounds
now. She eats Science Diet, supplemented by cardboard from discarded
paper towel rolls, coupons, or anything else made of paper, plus the
occasional foam insert from a shoe, and other assorted things she is not
supposed to eat. Madison also enjoyed chewing on the table legs when
teething.
She is a very loving and exuberant dog. She gets along well with her
person-sister, Emily, who is 4. Madison loves to play fetch and take long
walks and wants lots of attention from her people.
