Sirius of the Week for January 11 - 17, 2009
This week our Sirius is Lucky, a red Siberian Husky. His person-mom writes,
"Lucky is now 8 years old. He doesn't like any dogs really or cats or squirrels. He is a lone wolf. He likes being top dog and gives Romo the new pup [whom we
met last week] a hard time. Romo is way bigger than Lucky, but Lucky is still a tuff cookie.
"Lucky has changed since he lost his older brother Frisco.
Frisco was a beautiful black and white Siberian Husky with beautiful blue eyes.
Lucky and Frisco were inseparable and when Frisco passed away last year from a
terrible seizure, Lucky all of a sudden grew up. He became more serious and
changed so much. He is a little moody, but he loves to give kisses.
"He has two favorite toys that he carries with him when he eats, and when he
goes outside to do his business he takes one of his toys with him.
One is a brown little bear and the other is a gray elephant.
"Lucky loves attention from people, but doesn't like being around other dogs...
he thinks he should have all the attention. He is still spoiled, and we love
our Lucky.
He was the youngest of the litter and the only red husky.
