"My name is Jennifer and I live in Knoxville, Tennessee. I am proudly owned
by a Basenji/Whippet mix named Hollie that I rescued from the Young
Williams Animal Shelter. Once I saw Hollie, I knew she was the right dog,
we just had to convince my hubby. So, after he got home from work I took
him to the shelter to see Hollie. They got Hollie out of her cage and into
a room to visit with us... she immediately jumped up and gave puppy sugars
to her new daddy (like she knew it was he she needed to convince)!
Now Hollie is spoiled and loved greatly. She has her own chair, she
sleeps in the bed with her pawrents, and she goes to work with me
everyday. Her job at work is to guard the bird feeders from the squirrels.
She is good at her job! She eats better (Innova & Merricks) and gets
more doctor visits than we do!
Hollie and I attend as many dog events as we can find here locally, and we
even get her daddy to attend with us. She gets tons of attention and
petting and loves every minute of it.
Hollie came into our lives after the death of our previous furbaby.
She has mended two broken hearts and gives us unmeasurable joy and love.
She is always a star to us!!"
