Sirius of the Week for August 20 - 26, 2006
This week our star is Jenny. She is an 8 year old Labrador who lives
on a farm in Pennsylvania with several other dogs and some cats, and
a lot of cows.
One thing Jenny loves to do in the spring (when these pictures were
taken) is to eat cherries. In these pictures she is hanging out under
a Ranier cherry tree, eating the cherries that have fallen to the
ground. In the picture below, she's rolling around on the ground,
rubbing her face with her paws, after having consumed a bunch of
fruit. Who would have thought dogs would like cherries?!
