OUR DOG GIZZMO
My name is Jessica and I'm 9 years old. Our little dog's name is Gizzmo but
we usually call her Gizzy. She is a year and a half old and about fourteen pounds.
Someone gave her to us when she was a year old. We don't know exactly
when her birthday is but we have decided to celebrate it on September
23. She is part Pomeranian and part Pekinese, we think.
We were very excited when we got her because my sisters and I had
wanted a dog for a long time. And we loved her at first sight.
One thing she does that is funny is her dance. She will stand on her
hind legs and "paws" at the air. She looks so cute and funny when she
does that. Another funny thing she does is chasing and barking at our
cows. She runs around them, barks and jumps through the grass.
She loves people and likes it when we have visitors. We are trying to
teach her not to jump on people when someone comes to visit.
We have taught her to sit and we are trying to teach her to lie down.
Her favorite treat is a pig ear.
