Sirius of the Week for February 5 - 11, 2006
Baby Girl is the Sirius this week. She is about a year and 1/2 old and still very
puppy-ish. She's also half Beagle and half Pug, which makes her a ... 'Puggle'! Her
original person could not keep her any longer and wanted friends to take her in, so
Baby Girl flew all the way from Massachusets to the west coast. Her new family has
two adults, two little boys, and two cats.
Baby girl is very sharp and learned tricks like rolling over very quickly. She loves
to sleep on her back, too.
Because Baby Girl's person-mom runs a daycare center, she gets alot of attention and
interaction with all the kids. She took up sucking a binkie (pacifier) though!
She knows how to steal binkies out of the mouth of a little boy and knows how to flip the
binkie over and put it in her own mouth.
Baby girl also enjoys playing and wrestling with the cats. Her people have to keep an eye on the
kitty litter because she has a bad habit of wanting to play in it. In the evening when
her person dad is relaxing on the couch after work, she will sit in her bed and stare at
him and whine until he gives her permission to come and sit
besides him, which she loves to do. She is the master's dog and sees her dad as the main
man and main boss over her. She is devoted to him.
When she comes for a visit at grandma's, her people have to bring a leash
just in case she wants to misbehave and run too wild throughout the house; otherwise,
her grandma loves her, too. Baby Girl gets underfoot at times because when
Grandma is cooking, Baby Girl just has to be right there, underfoot, in case
Grandma gives her a treat.
