Siriuses of the Week for Oct. 31 - Nov. 6, 2004
Our submitter writes,
"This is Andromeda Marie Katherine, or AMK for short.
She is a 4 1/2 year old Alaskan Malamute.
I fell in love with her, after spotting her
picture online at the City shelter in Aurora, Colorado.
"She fits into our little pack quite well--
Annie, our Siberian Husky/Whippet mix (5 1/2),
just loves her. They are so close, in fact, that it's
hard to get a picture of them in which the two of
them aren't squashed together!
"Annie and Andromeda love their purple squeaky bone,
milk bone dog biscuits, long walks in the park,
chasing naughty squirrels, and cuddling with
their Mommy and Daddy.
"I love my two rescue dogs more than mere words can
say...they are truly a pair of 4-legged angels!"
Here are a couple of pictures taken in 2005:
Andromeda, a gentle, calm Malamute
Andromeda in her favorite room -- the kitchen!
This photo was taken with Annie too close to the camera. Her people tried to fix her
eye color with the red-eye reducer option, but made her eyes green. They are really
brown!
Zombie Dog (with weird green eyes)
Some additional photos:
Andromeda Marie Katherine (AMK) in a playful mood. She bats one paw
in the air, and rolls over and over so that you can pat her furry belly.
AMK
Annie, with her eyes full of enchantment, waiting for a puppy cookie.

AMK and Annie, with their favorite people food(s) on the table beside them:
Nutter Butter cookies, and Air Heads taffy. Of course, people food treats
are given sparingly, and they enjoy several healthy milk bone treats per day.
They are given a lot of love, and they share the house with two people, two
tarantulas, and a goldfish named Tea Bag.
