Sirius of the Week for September 12 - 18, 2004
Oscar, a Beagle mix, lives in Toronto and has been in his family
for 8 years now, and is
the sweetest dog you could ever imagine. They got him from the
animal shelter and couldn't have gotten a more wonderful dog. He is
always there comforting the person in the family who needs it most
(and in a big family, there is usually someone). He absolutely LOVES
to swim (and having arthritis now, it's nice for him as it's easy on
his hips), and since Billy (whom we'll meet in 2 weeks) has joined
the family, Oscar spends his time keeping him out of trouble, and
looking after him when he is frightened.
"Although it took some adjusting for Oscar, Billy and he get along
well now. I have to conclude by saying that the Tayles family dogs
are two of the coolest dogs you will ever meet (and both in
completely different ways). :)"
