Sirius of the Week for October 19 - 25, 2003
Our submitter writes,
"This is Jackson. I think he is a pure Black Lab, but we are unsure. We
rescued him from a farmer who was going to shoot him because he didn't want
him. That really angers me when people do that! I offered to pay the farmer
to get his dog fixed."
"Jackson lives with my husband and myself and his big sister Minnie (a gray
cat) in Crystal Minnesota. He is 1 year and 4 months old and full of a lot
of energy. His nick name is Poopers or Sir Poops-a-lot, and you can guess
why. We live on a small lake and Jackson LOVES to swim and chase tennis
balls. Jackson is the first dog we've ever owned and knock on wood, he has
been a dream. He was easy to potty train, he doesn't chew on anything except
his bones and toys. He does have a problem jumping on people, but we're
working on that. We love Jackson with all our heart and couldn't imagine
life without him!"
